What Verdeca actually is
Every fixed roof is a compromise. It keeps the rain off, and it also keeps the sun off on the two weeks a year you actually wanted the sun. Verdeca solves that by folding the roof away.
The canopy is a tensioned fabric that gathers back along the frame at the touch of a button, so the space is open to the sky when the weather is good and covered within about a minute when it turns. LED lighting is built into the beams, which makes the space usable well into the evening.
