Privacy notice

Short version: we use what you send us to answer your enquiry, and nothing else. We do not sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.

Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, postcode, the range you are interested in, an approximate size, and your message. We also record the date and time, and a one-way hash of your IP address, which we use to stop automated spam. We cannot recover your IP address from that hash.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange the survey and installation. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, specifically responding to someone who has contacted us about buying something.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Where work goes ahead we keep the records for six years, which is the period we are required to hold financial records for.

Who else sees it

Our web host stores the site and its files, and our email provider carries the notification we receive when you submit the form. Nobody else. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not use your enquiry to advertise to you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or social media tracking. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@glassverandas-uk.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
